Insurance Reimbursement Expert, Healthcare Advocate, and CEO
From my earliest childhood memories, health and wellness have been cornerstones of my life. Raised by a trailblazer in the insurance industry, I was immersed in the world of healthcare advocacy from a young age. I remember hearing my mom talk about her frustration with the insurance industry. But even more impactfully, I watched her expertly solve those frustrating problems and in turn, positively impact the lives of real patients and providers. This unique exposure instilled in me not just a passion for healthcare, but a deep understanding of the healthcare system – an understanding that extends far beyond my professional resume.
But for me, this work became even more significant when I encountered my personal challenges with the healthcare system. As a teenager, I discovered my own challenges with fertility. I was frequently in the hospital and quickly learned that my path to motherhood would include "non-essential" procedures that are not covered by insurance. These experiences were, and still are, painful; but more than that – they are eye-opening. They have brought me face-to-face with the harsh realities of healthcare accessibility and insurance limitations.
Of course, this personal experience isn’t easy, but it is meaningful. It reminds me of the importance of access to care, not just in life-threatening situations but in every stage of life.
That’s why today, I’m passionate about fiercely advocating for those navigating the complex healthcare system, and the physicians who provide life-changing treatment. I’m committed to helping providers and facilities optimize their insurance processes so they can focus on what truly matters.
